PGI's Purpose
Physician's Guide to the Internet was established in 1995 to help physicians use the Internet to enhance their personal and professional lives. Websites listed on PGI are carefully chosen by the editor, based on his personal assessment and evaluation of their helpfulness. Commercial factors in no way influence the listing of a website.
Editor/Publisher
PGI is written, edited, and produced by Eric Golanty, Ph.D., for many years a health and medical educator, college professor, and author. Dr. Golanty was educated at UC Berkeley (BA in biochemistry), UC San Francisco (MS in biochemistry), and UC Davis (Ph.D. in adult developmental and family psychology). He has conducted biochemical research and taught at UC San Francisco, UC San Diego School of Medicine, and UC Davis. He is married to a physician.
