When your eyes were closed,
And you were Anchoring,
What did you notice?

Did you hear any sounds?
Did your mind wander?
Did you think about your to-do list?
Did you tell yourself this was silly?
Did you feel sleepy?
Did you relax?

Any or all of those things is natural.

Even if your mind wandered to thoughts,
Because the mind is never quiet.
It is always thinking,
And almost always judging.
That is the nature of mind.

Whenever you Anchor
You can expect your mind to wander.
And when it does,
Just notice.
And bring yourself back to your Anchor-place.

Breathe easily and naturally.
